Review of A Lull in the Sea

This anime is just so great and once you finished it, u will keep remembering some outstanding scenes in this anime since it is so great and unforgettable. Actually, i have known this anime way back in 2015, but i refuse to watch it since my brother said it's kinda boring in several first episodes. But, 6 years later (right now) i tried it again on netflix and i feel so blessed that i don't watch it 6 years ago. Because if i had watched it with my ipad or phone back then, i won't be able to get the best experience of watching thisamazing anime.

Story (9/10)
the story is so good and although it seems simple, i never found other anime with this kind of story. For me, i always loved anime with fantasy and romance genres and if u loved it just like me this will be the best choice. Anyway, the story tells us about an imaginary world where humanity is divided into sea people and land people (let's say it this way lol). So, there is some kind of boundary between them. In this anime, our main character is trying to break that boundary between sea people and land people. So, i can only tell u that far since i will give u a spoiler if i go any further. I love the fact that the story is not so predictable.

Art (10/10)
the art is outstanding. After watching anime for 6 years i think this anime has the best art of all anime i have ever watched except for charlotte since both of this anime was made by P.A works. And that's why previously i said that i am so grateful that i watched this anime on netflix in my tv. Because by watching in the tv i can get the best view of this amazing art which is so so so pretty and outstanding

Sound (9/10)
I really love the first opening of this anime. The animation in that opening also outstanding and just perfect. I mean, it is really rare to find a good opening song with an outstanding animation and that's why i can say that the first op song is one of the best i have ever seen (mostly because the transition of the animation is just perfect). The first ending song also so good. But, the second opening song is a little bit boring for me and i skipped it sometimes. The same goes for the second ed song. That's why i give it a 9 instead of 10

Character (10/10)
All character developed so well in this anime and their relationship is one of the best i have ever seen in anime or manga. The design for every character also so cute and pretty. Actually, there are some character that annoys me at first, but at least she developed pretty well. First, let's talk about Hikaru, our MC, I like him so much. He may look like an airhead sometimes and like to yell at people, but he is a really nice guy who cares for his friends a lot. Next, let's talk about Manaka. Manaka is just so cute and u can't hate her although she acts like an airhead sometimes. Her character is the cutest in this anime. But, at the same time i think she is too plain and not that interesting. But, still i love her.
The next one is my favorite character, Chisaki. Tbh, i thought Chisaki will be the Female Lead in this anime since she is the most interesting character with a little bit of bipolar behavior. She is the character with the most drama and depressed scene. She also not a perfect girl, but that's what makes her the best girl because perfect is boring. I love how realistic she is. Every time i watched this anime i always wait for Chisaki scene and i will pay a really close attention everytime it gets to her scene. The next one is Tsumugu, my favorite boy. I also like him for the same reason as Chisaki. He is so realistic and i can say that he is the most handsome out of the boys. (SPOILER : and what makes me love him and Chisaki so much is because i loved their relationship more than anything in this anime, the reason why i give the character a 10 is because Chisaki and Tsumugu relationship in this anime is beyond amazing. I have never found a more natural relationship than their relationship and it just so great). Kaname is so so for me from the start, i never took a really deep interest in him until the very last part of the anime. Miuna is the character that i said annoying at first. Okay, this is a spoiler, later on in this anime Miuna will like Hikari and that's the point where she became kinda annoying to me. But, at last she developed pretty well and that's make her okay. Sayu musn't be a main character for me, her scene is not that much and mostly talks about her love to Kaname. She is not annoying but not interesting.

I enjoy it so much and finished this anime in 3 days despite my busy schedule.

Overall, i think this anime is so great and u should definitely try it. If anyone asked me what is the best part of this anime i must say the best part was the relationship between each character and the feeling u get from watching it.
