Review of Devilman: Crybaby

I came into this series knowing absolutely nothing about Go Nagais original Devilman series. I saw countless hype on various blogs all over the internet, and I decided to boot up Netflix in order to watch the show. Needless to say, Devilman: Crybaby has left me in tears. Everything about this show clicks impeccably. No scenes are bad. The animation is absolutely stunning, and the ending.... the ending is what has me the most shaken. It was severely depressing, but not in a way that'll make you despise the show for wasting your time. It'll make you appreciate the fact that you decided to watchthe show in the first place. If you have some form of depression though, please, the ending will absolutely fuck you up. So mentally prepare yourself before you partake in watching this show. This show has set the bar for 2018 and the month isn't even over yet. This is my number one favorite so far out of shows watched, and I promise, if you are reading this, it will not disappoint.
