Review of Tsukigakirei
Story It's romance to the very core. It follows the budding romance between two 15 year olds. It is slow. It is realistic. Just like real life teenagers, the characters stumble a lot in their relationship. It felt weird to watch this, as I could somehow relate to them but at the same time could not understand them. Art Background art is beautiful, but character art is wacky. Mobs in the background are clearly badly rendered with CGI, and initially even the main characters moves weirdly. It's simplicity has it's charms though. Music It definitely wasn't shy to use vocals to bring out the impact of each scene. Verywell done in this regard. Hatsukoi was my favourite vocal song.
Character
Characters each have their own nuances and charms. They move and express their feelings in subtle ways - through affirming noises and huffs. It was quite unique.
Overall it was very enjoyable
