Review of Land of the Lustrous

Absolutely amazing anime. The chara designs are gorgeous and the cgi used is weirdly fitting for the hair of these gems. Although sometimes we can see that there are some slight problems with the 3d and how some things should've been animated frame per frame for a better result, it doesn't make this anime any less enjoyeable. The music is excellent and so immersive as well. It really fits the atmosphere and the vibes. The voice acting is very good too and I really enjoy Phos and the others's voices, though I wish there had been more male voice actors on this. Also, there is sometimesa little bit of fan service which is, not really necessary ? It's not needed for the plot but it honestly just made me laugh. There are some funny bits in this anime as well, even if not the main focus! It's light and not the funniest but it does the job for an action anime.

To sum up, it's really worth the watch. The episodes are finished so quickly and it's such a shame we only got 12 of them!! Hopefully one day Orange will announce a new season,,,
