Review of The Rising of the Shield Hero
The first thing that made me continue watching this anime was to figure why did the shield hero just straight out ignored by the king and bullied by his own daughter. I thought it was just discrimination since a shield hero can't attack which in the anime world equates to powerless. But even if that was the reason, i thought getting accused for rape was pretty too harsh of a bullying just for being the weak one since he was hated and shunned by everyone. Honestly after the first wave fight, it got pretty bland and I frankly didn't even know if I could continueuntil they brought in a church conspiracy. I thought this is the time where alll that framing and bullying of the mc has a conspiracy behind it but the reason behind it pretty bland. They reveal the real reason after and it was the most underwhelming reason ever. Pretty much after the mc's name was clear, there was a situation where there might be something more of the wave. Again the information released was fairly boring as well.
So in conclusion, tate no yuusha was fairly disappointing in terms of storytelling andthe characters add nothing unless you're into the type of girls they put in there. Pretty much felt like I've wasted my time watching this. Honestly i saw a few people saying this one was different but I didnt see how this was diferent than any other isekai anime I've seen.
