Review of The Rising of the Shield Hero

The good: Raphtalia. I'm not sure if she is waifu level for me, but I can definietly see why she is so popular. The bad: Raphatlia is sacraficed on the altair of "every isekai needs to have a harem", because what would be an isekai without it, right? That's all. I just wanted to rant a bit. All in all a good anime. The story is good. The characters are mostly interesting. However it misses something which would make this anime outstanding. If you like these "weakest mc, became the strongest" type of shows with a little bit of edginess in it you will most likelyenjoy this show, other than that I cannot really recommend.
