Review of Parasyte: The Maxim

This anime excels with its very unique story and progression of the characters, plot, and the anime itself. The story is well written, that creates a lot of suspenseful situations that leaves me on the edge of my seat. It had amazing music tracks that are queued in at the right time and great use of sound effects with some generic ones. The style and art of the anime can be seen being evolved and shows the artists in the production being increased in their skill, not saying the art was bad at first but you can really notice the effort and precision put intothe later episodes. It puts a nice polish to the ending. The ending of the anime does seem a bit rushed, it could have been extended with more detail, but it is understandable since it is a 24 episode series. Not sure if there will be a sequel soon, but I can say that there will be an OVA for sure because there is a high demand for this anime. Overall it is a great unique story, and very well directed and co-ordinate help from the producers and is a must watch for any anime fans of horror/action anime.
