If you're here for just the hentai part of this, then "Gaki ni Modotte Yarinaoshi!!!" is just for you. Overall, its animation quality is above average with only a few quality drops here and there and has some very good scenes. However, if you care about plot even remotely, then tread carefully. When I had read the synopsis for "Gaki ni Modotte Yarinaoshi!!!," I had anticipated a similar scenario to that of "Redo of Healer", where the main, already aware of what would happen, would use that knowledge to their advantage and turn the tables. And yeah, our boy, Boku, does that pretty well. He's ableto be in control of each and every situation after he travels back in time. In the grand scheme of things, this is a decent revenge story about a kid getting back at his childhood bullies... at least in theory.

Right off the get-go, the art is quite above average and you are introduced to the diverse cast of characters Boku will get his revenge on. And in each of the s p i c y scenes, you're treated to some nice animation quality. In this department, I'm pretty pleased, but that's about it. When it comes to executing the story, things start to go South. Some plot points are used haphazardly, making some scenes seem rushed, unpolished, and overall, unnatural. Episode 2 suffers from this the most. In fact, it's the episode I have the most beef with. Episode 1, compared to episode 2, is actually pretty good. Episode 2, however, bit off more than it could chew and tried adding various elements to story that made it convoluted and in some cases, unnecessary. As I said before, with how the plot points were used, the flow and the ending seemed very rushed, which is a bummer.

Of course, if you don't care much about a coherent story and just want some good material (it is a hentai after all), then this is something I would recommend. Its art and animation are quite pleasing and offers a variety characters for Boku to take revenge on. However, due to the execution of its story, "Gaki ni Modotte Yarinaoshi!!!" is hard to stay immersed in throughout, which earns it a 5/10 from me.
