Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day
A group of friends who were close growing up as kids and find themselves moving apart after a tragic event during their childhood. This compelling and vivid anime will pull you to the characters and the challenges they have been facing for their entire life after they couldn't move on after a incident that happened. This anime has done its tole on my emotion and won its place in my top two of favorite amines. The story in itself was well done and everything fit perfectly together. There wasn't any repetitiveness in the series and everything was very fresh. This series has no fillers and the paceof the series is fast flowing but easy to grasp as well.
The art is a realistic Japanese modern view and its very well done. I can tell they spent their time with the animation and lighting. It will not bore you with color schemes or dull art.
The music was the centerpiece in my opinion and portrayed the right emotion in the scene. The voice actors (Japanese) fit all the parts perfectly. They acted their parts with lots of emotion and portrayed the characters thoughts.
Each character was well rounded and balanced, and had their flaws and good parts of them. Each character seemed to be needed in the series and played a important part. There wasn't one that wasn't needed or a filler. The extras were well done as well and provided extra help.
The anime is a surreal one that touches the emotions felt with each character in detail. The entangellness of everyone in this gang was very nice and it intrigued me to see how they all splitted away. The comedy, romance, emotion is all there and was a very refreshing anime to have seen!
