Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day
(SLIGHT SPOILERS) Anohana was an emotional kitty roller coaster. This was the 3rd or 4th anime (and my first pretty deep heart string tugging show) that I had watched, and boy was a I wreck at the end. Friendships that are true and real can surpass barriers that you can't even imagine, through thick and thin, life and death. Anohana is a show about a group of kids who were best friends when they were young who drifted apart after one member of their group died in an accident, since that, the group dispersed. 10 or so years later they all end up meeting again... Life istoo short to hold grudges and bad feelings for others, live life, laugh, spread love, and appreciate every minutes you have. Anohana does an excellent job portraying real familial values, interpersonal conflict and deep conflicts between long lost friends that can push you apart, but can also bring you together. If you are looking for an anime that's going to make you grab the tissue box, but also really make you reflect & think about your life and relationships. Take some time and watch Anohana, you won't regret it.
& the soundtrack is great (-:
