Monogatari series is a successful anime because it's ambiguous enough to satisfy every juvenile aspect of a person. The show feels randomly guided without making it totally senseless, just like a dream. This is accomplished not just with a supernatural philosophical and, at the same time, an extremely casual plot, but with its smooth, fresh and colorfully pretentious animation, and a sweet soundtrack that emphasize the context and visuals too. Just by looking into the basis of the anime you can sense its harmony, making someone able of fully let go in the first moments. There isn't a direct message because, what principally tries totransmit is ''Whatever it is, keep going and let the wind guide you.'' It doesn't tries to claim any form of statement, it just wants to gently caress you with subtle details that, consciously or unconsciously, will fit with you. These details can be interpreted in infinite ways, and because that's the objective of the anime, these interpretations aren't any more or less accurate.

I find it the cutest thing because it's very juvenile. We all want to know or to sense that we make sense, and however we want it, Monogatari tries to help. It's a sane anime that has clear what wants to be and fulfills itself taking necessary risks. It's sincere, direct and transparent. To me, it's a unique audiovisual work that has the misfortune of being an anime, because there are a lot of bad examples that soil the category ''anime''.
