Review of School Days

This is my first review on myanimelist, English is not my native language but i'll do my best to make this review readable. School days is a drama, psychological, harem and romance anime. At the first time, it seems like the average "Visual novel harem Anime", but with the progress of the plot you can notice several changes in the atmosphere of the anime (soundtrack, scenery, character's behaviour, etc) that make a good development of the story. Story 6/10: The story is about a love triangle between the protagonist Makoto Itou, Sekai Saionji and Kotonoha Katsura in their high school days, It's just that. The good point isthe character development in the course of the story, the form of love each one has (I'll explain that later), the advance of their psychological state in certain situations, etc.

Character 7/10:
At the story's beginning:
Makoto and Kotonoha likes each other, and Sekai has a crush on Makoto. The real problem here is the personality and goals of each one. Makoto wants to be with Kotonoha, but he needs to move forward fast in the relationship. That's a problem for Kotonoha, who is more reserved and innocent, which generates a lot of awkward situations that distance them. Sekai takes advantage of this and tries to get Makoto's love through the way of sex.
The three different ways of love keep moving in the story, showing more and more dark sides of them, developing the psychology of the characters at the same rhythm of the story's advance.

Art 7/10:
The old days anime art style. After all, school days is a Visual Novel (a really good one) and the animation is from 2007 by TNK Studio. In my opinion is a good art for be that, a Visual novel based anime.

Sound 10/10:
The strongest point of school days, the soundtrack. I think the OST is a masterpiece, it conveys a feeling of sadness, melancholy and despair. School days is a drama anime, It has many sad situations and this glorious soundtrack accompany you and the characters through these situations in a perfect form. You'll put yourself in the skin of the characters in every situation, you'll feel all that sadness, despair and guilty with this beautiful soundtrack.

Enjoyment 8/10:
I enjoyed school days, is one of my top 10 favorite animes, but i must admit that it's pretty boring for a moments. For example in Makoto/Kotohona first moments or nearby the story's final

Overall 8/10:
I think School Days is a very good experience, it's worth watching at.
In my case, School days marked my beginnings in the anime world. I consider it a very special anime
