Review of School Days
So the story begins with the start of a guy named Makoto who has been watching this girl in the train named Kotonoha which he thinks is really cute, but theres this urban legend that goes around saying that if you take a picture of the person you like you would be with him/her. The story I thought was probably one of those shows where your like "oh cool- this show is probably going to have a happy ending with the person he likes..." But I did not expect anything to happen like this, especially on a show that contains cute high school girls just beingboyfriend and girlfriend. Although, you can clearly predict what was going to happen it was easy to how the show was going to turn out. This show shows you how important it is to have morals and also keep the ones you treasure without hurting them.
With the character development, I started to get frustrated especially the main character Makoto who can not stop being a man with urges where he just can't keep in his pants, where being totally selfish and not thinking about the people around got me really pissed off watching the show. It was way to arrogant for him to not even think about the people especially both Kotonoha and Sekai. I believed that all the girls were just all whores and just wanted to have sex. But I really felt sorry for Kotonoha, which made me watch the show all the way to the end, which helped kind of balance the characters imo.
Overall, this story was probably the most predictable story line, yet unpredictable at the same time, especially the ending. If I were to recommend you this show, I would but I would probably depress you and have lots of anger especially to the main character. If you do end up watching I hope you aren't one of those people who creates a tantrum and break stuff because this show would just do that.
