Review of Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of Might

great movie. turles besides being the idea of an evil goku is a very interesting vilian, he has a personality. hes not just a one dimentional bad guy. the animation of this movie is superb. the fight scenes are great. all the OG roster is fighting. tienshenhan,yamcha even chiatzu are there too. the cinematography was superb. alot of great shots that reminds of tenstion you see in westrens. the idea of the tree of might that was a cool sci fi subplot but also served as a great plot device to power turles who suppose to be low class sayian warrior and thus making him athreat.

i would rank it in my top 5 DBZ movies. just because its so different from the rest. its a little bit longer and have better pacing, its not too rushed and also not so long that you will get bored of it.

people may complain that the dbz movies are vilian of the day type of movies but this is their exact magick. you need to love dragon ball to really enjoy them. i get that people who hate dragon ball would bash it. for me its the simplicity of turning off my mind and enjoying an hour of great animation,great fight scenes and a great vilian and i'm happy. not every movie needs to be dune.
