Review of High School DxD

Now before I begin, I just wanna say that that this show is so far in the I would say fuck this shit hell no, i'd rather die than watch a stupid ecchi! but after hearing why so many people like this show, I gave it a try and I was so hooked I marathoned all three seasons in about a week. Story- Our story begins with pervert Issei, and his two friends. you could basically call them the tit squad cause that's all they really are lol. but Issei is obsessed with titties like its no ones business. but he can't get a chickto save his life. one day a chick asks him out on a dateand everything's smooth right?... Well he dies, he gets assassinated by the hot chick he went on a date with! his life is saved by a devil called Reis Gremmery ( grand master tits!). from there on Issei is Reis's servant as a devil. The story is actually pretty good for being a stupid concept. it reminds me a lot of gurren lagann, in a sense, YOU CAN'T TAKE THIS ANIME SERIOUSLY! BRAIN, OFFFF!!!! This show is supposed to be fun and to enjoy its story, you can't think into it, you gotta just sit back, turn off your brain and just prepare to laugh, see some titties and be amazed at how the ohh's and awhhh's of the show, cause that's how you enjoy this story.

Art and Animation- the animation for high school DxD is solid but there's nothing super about I can point out about. the boobs look good and I didn't expect anything less because that's what the show is trying to show off. it's not perfect, but it gets the job done.

Sound- To be completely honest, I really didn't think much of the show's music at first. but after seeing a youtube review from Holden review's, although he despised the show, which is fine, the show is deff not meant for everybody, pointed out the amazing music to the show, so I checked it out myself and after rewatching the show with the soundtrack in mind, I can safely say that it is FUCKING AWESOME! The sound for this show is so perfect, I almost wanna say that I like the sound as much or more than the show. It sells the scenes, with orchestra, some awesome badass music and some DECENT opening and endings. nothing that special\, although season three has a cool opening. the endings are always sexual, especially the stripper ending one.

Charecters- I personally enjoyed all of the charecters of High school DxD. Issei is a loveable main character, who never fails to make me laugh my ass off. His passion for being the harem king is amazing. Reis, is mainly just a pair of tits for the first season, but after watching three seasons, I can safely say she's starts developing nicely. Akkano, being Reis's right hand servant/queen (all the servants are ranked as pieces of a chess board) is a pretty good character, probably the most seductive character I have seen in my whole life. Needless to say she is VERY well eveloped by season three so she is a very good character. now those three will be as far as I will go, because if I wanted to talk about everyone in the show I would be hear for god damn ever, but needless to say the show has a wide variety of fun charecters that all get some nice development, could be better for some.

Now as for my enjoyment, this is where the show shows its true potential. This show made me laugh so hard one moment, made me say, HOLY SHIT the next second you'll be seeing a story unfold. Now needless to say this show did have a few problems I couldn't ignore. My biggest problem with this show is that when it tries to be serious it gets too caught up in fanservice to show a serious discussion scene. that annoys me being that the show had some seriously awesome moments that unfortunately gets foreshadowed by all the god damn tits and ass in your face all the time. my only other beef with this show is after season two. everything feels rushed as hell. like slow down man holy crap. but I can say that season in respect does have a really cool plot. Overall, I can honestly say that this show is without a doubt a unique blend of action comedy and harem/ecchi. if you want to have the full enjoyment out this show, you have to understand the show is meant to just be a barrel of fun. Oh, my only other beef is I never understand whats going with the romance between charecters half the time. overall, if your in the mood for a total non sensical fun? then enjoy and look no further. However if you can't turn your brain off and enjoy the show for what it is, then avoid at all cost.
