Review of Natsume's Book of Friends

Beautiful. A truly memorable story that will stay with me. If you're thinking of watching this, I highly recommend it. I watched it without expecting anything amazing but it was an entrancing series. Natsume is a well developed character and Nyanko Sensei is utterly hilarious. Story - 10 Heart rendering and equally amusing, there's drama, friendship and even action plus much more which makes this a versatile viewing for many people. Art - 10 The art was brilliant and complemented the mood of this show extremely well. Sound - 10 Yep, the music was equally lovely as everything else, and I find myself to be continually serenaded bythe music.

Character - 10
The characters really make the show, each yokai having a well thought out background and story. Natsume and the other supporting characters captured both my heart and my imagination, and ingrained themselves into my thoughts.

Do you need to ask? Yes this show has been rewatched a few times...

Overall - 10
I was completely overwhelmed with surprise at the quality of this show and how much of an impression it has left behind. Be prepared to cry, laugh and cry a little more.
