Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom(made by the creators of Darker than Black) is based on the popular visual novel "Phantom Inferno". In fact, there are two adaptations of this game. First one is called Phantom the Animation and it's basically an OVA, which shows only 20-30% of the full story. Second adaptation, Requiem for the Phantom, is better in every aspect. 26 episodes is enough to tell the story, which is divided in three arcs. And the story is great, it's a magnificient criminal drama with action elements. Music is gorgeous and art style with character design is very good. About what isbad in this series... well, SPOILER!!!, creators of this anime have strange vision of how much people grow in two years. Also, for some people, this anime could be a bit boring. Because, as I said before, this more a criminal drama, than action.

But trust me, if you're looking for a spectacular criminal drama, similar to the legendary Leon with Jean Reno, or you like such series as Noir, Darker than Black, Madlax, than Requiem for the Phantom is the right choice for you.
