Review of Sword Art Online

Things I don't like: So I just finished watching and my biggest qualm with SAO is that the characters are pretty boring. There isn't any development at all throughout the show so the lense of how I saw Kirito, Asuna, and Suguha in the beginning didn't change by the time I got to the last episode. Other then that the show is very predictable and I got bored a few times while watching it. Things I Like: I really liked the animation and the choreography a lot! That's is where the show really shines: when Kirito is just wrecking. The backgrounds are also really beautiful and aregreat at drawing the viewer into the world. I watched it dubbed and I enjoyed the voice acting (especially from Suguha in that one crying scene).

The concept is definitely the biggest draw to SAO, very relatable and very much a dream that many people who play video games hope comes true in the future.
