Review of Shiki

WARNING: Review might contain SPOILERS! Story: 3-5 max The story was overall, alright nothing out of the ordinary. However it doesn't get interesting at all until like episode 11-12! The story is extremely slow outlayed, takes forever for the village and the doctor 'Toshio' to understand. The story is also black and white! Shiki kill human? SHIKI BAD!!! Human kill Shiki? HUMAN BAD!!! I didn't sympathize with any side expect some characters 'deaths'. In the start i disliked Shiki much more than the villagers for the reason that they went straight to attack their families because HEY! maybe they would RAISE up! You know just maybe a smallchance but that's something?!

Then the villagers started a Shiki genocide and well ooh boy! My sympathy for them went away in seconds because they lost all their empathy like feeling nothing while doing horrendous acts on their past lovers and family members! They also attacked anyone they felt was helping the Shiki..????

Shiki also attempted to make the whole village, an okiagari village. The villagers and the Shiki were the same in that way.

Characters: 3!
Badly written characters! Most of the characters was unlikeable like Masao for an example he was a big a-hole and never got a character development.

Art: 6/7
I like the art! it's very exaggerated which i like! I can see why people wouldn't like it though! Some designs were just generic though and then in the next scene there is someone with crazy looking hair like Ritsuko or Kaori. Which makes it look odd and wrong together.

Enjoyment: 3
I didn't enjoy it since it was slow and almost everyone was a jerk.

Overall: 4!
