Review of Durarara!!

Durarara!!, which by the way, I have too much fun saying, was better than I thought it would be. Mikado Ryuugamine is our main of mains. He wanders for the mysterious and the unknown. Luckily for him, Ikebukuro, where he just moved to be with his friend, is definitely full of it. He seems very intelligent, as soon as you're introduced to him you get that feeling. The dark feeling of the series is what initially grabbed me and kept me. Plus the mysterious feeling. Those are two things that are hard to get right, but that's why I enjoyed this so much, it is donereally well. The flow, the feeling, the mix goes together nicely.

Masaomi Kida has a lot of interesting friends and acquaintances, whom Mikado slowly comes to know. They're all very different but interesting characters.
Throughout the season things remain mysterious, which is hard to do while unraveling a story at the same time.
The feel of this anime is kind of like a moving comic book. The narration, the happenings, it's hard to pin point what makes it that way, but it's one of the reasons I like it.

The mystery of the Black Rider is a big one Mikado and Masaomi plan to figure out for themselves.
Celty and Shinra are a great adaption to the story. The way they're involved adds another perspective to everything. Also that the different groups of people are always active around each other, but never really acknowledge each other, so all the story points bounce together.

If you like continuous questions being asked, and taking a while to be answered, plus deep story, this is fantastic.
