story 8/10 It seems a little childish at first because the protagonists in the series are kids who-- at this point-- have lived relatively sheltered lives void of interpersonal relationships outside of their immediate families. So they don't yet appreciate just how cruel the world can be, nor do they have any skill in connecting to and empathizing with other people. That does change with time. Gon's situation is...a little different, but I won't delve too deep into that to avoid spoilers. Suffice it to say that if you're expecting Gon to be the classic shonen protagonist who's morally "pure" and fightsinjustice at every turn, you're going to be very disappointed.

animation 8/10 Animation is amazing in this series

aesthetic-sound 8/10 The acting is the strongest area of HxH and the music is solid, though lacks variety for such a long series.

few words about the series
This is a really fun and entertaining Anime that's all about one kid called Gon who is looking for his dad and the paths his dad laid out for him are truly incredible.

He gets stronger at such a strong rate but the series always shows that there are way stronger opponents so he always has someone to fight in the way that his father laid out.

This series shows a lot of fighting to get stronger but it also show that some people are meant to do incredible things. It's also a series that make you laugh really easily with all kinds of spontaneous and stupid humor that i love.
