While overlong, a raw charm helped Psycho Armor Govarian worm It's way into my heart by the half way point. Overambitious yet underinspired (Hope you like Star Wars But Anime) but with oddly memorable characters and a great jank translation (by subbing anti-legend AnimeShinigami) available on the internet, that reads like a machine(?) translation of the Italian sub version. There may well be more to forgive in this show then there is to condemn. Some highlights include: Hardly original yet detailed spacecraft designs, decent mech battles in some of the early episodes, a stupid meme score that includes Not Chariots of Fire and Other WannabeVangelis Hits, plus AT-STs, Flyngers, needless father annihilation by ray beam, needless father dying in a collapsed building, and tropes tropes tropes... oh and a few episodes that have tits for some reason completely front loaded in the first handful of EPs.

Can't see myself ever rewatching but maybe I'd throw on an episode ever again, take a trip down memory lane or something.
