Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day
Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai is in a word: Delicate To be honest, I didn't really like this anime until the last few episodes. That's when it really hit home. Don't worry, I won't give any major story points away, but for someone who has lost a friend it was very touching. What everyone should learn from this anime is the importance of being kind, open, and honest with one's friends. If (heaven forbid) they should leave this life, you don't want to wish you had treated them better and hold that regret in your heart. That being said, I gave ita 7 because the animation was average, I didn't care about majority of the characters until the 2nd half, and I probably won't watch it again. However, I am glad I watched it and would recommend it if you are in the mood for something mellow.
