Review of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion

The main reason why R1 is such a great anime is because of the amazing characterization of the characters but especially lelouch. The overall story is excellent and the animation is incredibly solid across the board. The soundtrack of this anime is also something worth mentioning. it has a good set of themes and the opening first theme song is very good, considered to be the best one the fans of this show. However, the second opening is considered the worst one (although i do think its an alright theme), and the third theme is weird in its placement. While I am of the opinionthat R2 is far better, R1 does a better job at pacing the story than R2. I would definitely consider it a must watch for any type of anime fan!

overall I give this anime a very solid 9.5/10 for all of the above and the amazing soundtrack, visuals and character development.
