Review of Fire Force
This anime took me awhile to finish because I was trying to watch it with my boyfriend when it first came out... thankfully I've finally got to catch up (unfortunately by myself, but it was still enjoyable). I'll state that first and foremost I was biased going into watching this anime because I love Atushi Ookubo's work (Soul Eater was one of the anime/manga's that got me into this world, and I still rewatch it every now and then to feel the nostalgia), but even if I wasn't a fan of his work I already know I would love this anime anyway. The anime basics were fantastic(Detailed world sucking you into it's many views and problems, characters that you can't stop thinking about even after you go to bed late and night and an art style that keeps you coming back for more), which I hope any anime fanatic can appreciate. I enjoyed learning about all the characters from the 8th Special Fire Brigade... but what I love even more is the way the showed their pasts without showing EVERYTHING which makes you come back for more (When they only show bits and pieces of the past, but not the whole story that way it makes you think about the characters more, and keeps you creeping back in for more)
My explanations aren't the best, but I overall REALLY enjoyed this anime and can't wait for the next season to come back.
I believe if you didn't personally liked Fire Force or dropped it mid-way through then it's because you weren't fully paying attention or understand the story telling.
PLEASE, to the people who dropped this anime go give Soul Eater a try first. It'll make you appreciate this world and thought process.
Thanks to anyone who reads my weird reviews,
Latom.
