Having just watched it, I find it a little hard to gather my thoughts and put them into words. I went into Kono Sekai no Katasumi ni expecting a tear-jerking WWII movie littered with tragedies. While it did make me weep and made my heart grow heavy -- it also made me smile and even laugh through the tears. It beautifully showcases an ordinary girl's life that gets changed by time and war. The art of this movie goes very well with the story -- certain scenes left me in complete awe. I love how the story ties up towards the end; it left mewith a feeling of warmth.
