Nagi no Asukara or A Lull in the Sea is an original anime that aired in 2014. I heard about this anime a while ago but I never considered watching it until recently where I wanted to watch some romance animes in general. Story: This story overall wouldn't be considered to be linear where all the events in the story cannot be anticipated by previous experience of anime. One of the genres 'Romance' cannot be overstated in this anime, the romance that was expressed was a lot more impactful to the overall moral of the story when comparing to other animes. Art: I finished this anime atthe end of 2017 where a whole bunch of amazing animes with magnificent art has already been released such as Kimi no Nawa, Koe no Katachi, Made in Abyss and Violet ever garden which is coming out soon. Nevertheless, this anime had comparable art that is a pleasure for the eye. In some particular scenes, the art looked absolutely fantastic and I can clarify that it's better than some recent animes.

Sound: The OSTs fit perfectly in this anime, there are a few particular moments where the background music was able to enhance the overall scene and make your watching experience that much better. The OPs' and the EDs' were really nice and fitting as well. Especially from the first to the second opening, the difference in tone can easily be differentiated. The second ending changed a bit in a certain episode where a certain turn of events occur in the anime, I thought that was a nice little touch and the same can be said about the second opening as well.

Character: The characters in this anime are full of emotions and are 'colourful' (Britsh spelling BTW). The main cast with the addition of a few secondary characters contained some sort of romantic feeling that can be noticeable. With all those feelings the genre 'Romance and Drama' can shine and be recognised.

Overall: This was really an enjoyable anime that contained many notable elements that were just simply outstanding. I would personally recommend this anime to people if they're not busy with real-life activities and such.
