Review of Horimiya

Horimiya was an excellent watch, because it is both fun and relatable. I thought the relationship between the main characters was absolutely fantastic. The only downside of this show is the other characters, who are not nearly as interesting in the later episodes. It is rare to see a presentation of Japanese dating this unreserved, which made it even better. Very, very few anime slice-of-life are willing to present their characters as actual human beings with desires they act upon without overthinking. If you like this show, I can tell you "Sweat and Soap" is the manga to read (no adaptation yet).
