Review of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End

This is an outstanding show. I struggled with rating it a 9 or 10 but had such a blast watching it I had to go with 10. It has some of the most mature writing I have ever seen in an anime/manga series. I'm 30 at this point in time and very few anime entertain me or stir my emotions unless the content is of good quality. This is not your typical fantasy anime with most having an underlying theme of defeat the demon king or whatever. This story is about the journey after and offers a fresh take on the genre. The magic systemis pretty cool and the lead character will showcase her strength as a mage many times over. You will witness more growth in a character who is already powerful. I was amazed during many moments of the show. I am really excited to see future seasons.
