Review of A Whisker Away

*Minor spoiling* This movie is very conflicting to me. As a person i can understand what she is going though with her family and putting yourself to support on one person only. But watching it from third perspective brought me cringe level over 9000 and lots of face palms. I do not want to say its a bad movie or premise, but we are going there. Literally the FL was screaming 80% of the time the ML name. The other time she was mostly crying. The good parts of this movie was the artstyle. Oh so beautiful and mesmerizing. So many times i was catching myself justlooking at the background and the details compared listening what they were talking, because as i said previously the only thing was that the FL was screaming she loves the ML and thus he should do the same.

Although to be fair this must be based in middle school and not high school setting but if not, i do not understand the bulling part. You can see the bulling boy that he likes her even though she is a bit different from everyone. Although i would actually like some more scenes from the cat tree. It seemed like the whole budget was places in the last 20 mins of the movie.
Also i want the backstory of the before human Siamese cat in kimono guy. That cat seems too cool to be left without any backstory and only i could not be loved or love anyone.... Nahhhh give me his backstory. I need it!

But overall i would recommend it to people who like cats because it is based on cats and its a lovely movie about teenage love but nothing else. The overall character development was very dragged and at the end rushed which made the impression they were running out of time.
