Review of Redo of Healer

Some Spoilers Below: This is an anime where everything that can go wrong, does. Maybe, this rating was due to my own ideologies, but I did not agree with nor like the premise of revenge. Revenge was the main character’s sole purpose for the entirety of the anime. The buildup to that premise was horrid; the character “reawakens” and knows what will happen in the future, yet his first thoughts were for power and revenge. Instead of trying to prevent his near demise with the poisoning and experimentation from Princess Flare, he decides to go along with it in order to bide time to obtain morepower; though, I must acknowledge that his idea to build an immunity to poison beforehand was smart. All the horrible events that happens to the main character like his village getting massacred and his first friend dying was all due to him. In the midst of the events leading to these events, he does not do anything to prevent it, and it does not seem like he has the intellect to do so. The story itself just seems like a glorified overpowered revenge driven main character that somehow gets whatever he wants, whenever. This story could have gone so many other directions with an actual intellectual main character with a good supporting cast. Instead, it did all the wrong things at all the wrong times, and yes, this happened at every single point in the anime.
