Review of Blue Archive the Animation

I haven't played Blue Archive nor have I read the volumes it has, but if you like Blue Archive you might like this. If like the trope 'cute girls doing cute things' then you might also like this. This anime could've been so good for more reasons if they just tried to make a proper anime which is kinda sad since not many games get anime adaptations so it was interesting at first, until the 3rd episode. Nothing special happens, nothing note worthy, nothing breathtaking, just chatter chatter chatter and a gun fight every episode and a half that lasts a couple of minutes and it'sjust sooo boring. The characters aren't really characters, just cardboard cutouts and insulting to the cardboard cutouts.

The world though is cool ish but underused, which is kinda sad because they could have done something interesting with whole city is in sand part and how they celebrate the small things because they can't take it for granted but that's not what happens. Basically if they want something to happen, it happens.

This is a great anime for Youtubers when talk about the game Blue Archive since they can include clips from the anime and put it into the video to keep your attention. If anything, it's promotional material. Not really worth putting actual time into watching by yourself. Probably not even an anime to watch while drunk with friends.
