Review of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End

Frieren is a very comfy show that's well worth watching but it is nowhere close to a top 50 anime. Believe me or not but this show underlies how bad the Mal top list is because it's the first actually good show that Zimmer have been exposed to. Lucky star and clan ad were the same thing back in their time. FMA bebop and steins gate really do clear frieren though. Frieren simply lasts any meaningful character development, narrative tension, interesting setting, or gripping writing to be a top 50 anime. It's very good but there is so much anime that top 50 is the best, notgood.

Do watch, but know there's at least 50 better anime and that this show really trudges through 26 eps. Don't feel pressured into finishing it over whatever you enjoy more, ep 1 is the same as ep 26.
