This anime can be a definition of a masterpiece anime. Has a wonderful well written fantasy world, well detailed characters and everything. You can find yourself spending minutes just looking at the map of this great fantasy world, every city and every place has it's own memories both for you and the characters in the anime. The concept of time is so unique, is so well written and well thought out. The peaceful medieval ambience with those amazing musics will draws you into the anime instantly. You will be curious about past of the MC who is been living for more than a thousand year,her adventures, her friends and the things she found and lost.

As an elf who doesn't undertsand conception of time and emotions in human perspective, Frieren finally decides to change after losing a important human person for her. She will try to understand the things that important person did and said in past, she will try to keep those beautiful memories alive and finally try to understand how time is imporant and cruel to humans.

Frieren wants to thanks this important friend of her, and she decides to go to "heaven" to thank him for everything. In this journey she is not alone and she will be reminded with all those beautiful memories she had with the people she cares during her.
