this manga was really interesting, i read it as a very literal metaphor for depression & suicidal ideation. it's a little surreal but the story is very potent and it's hard not to read it all in one sitting, i was definitely gripped by it instantly. the art is absolutely gorgeous and very distinct among manga, everyone has a very recognizable and consistent face, like a real person would... there's almost a Kentaro Miura feel to the style, especially when it comes to the scary visual elements. i think this is an amazing manga and a must-read for anyone who has ever thought, "i wish icould just disappear, but i am afraid to die."
