Okay, so I just caught up with the first few chapters of this manga, and I have... a lot of mixed feelings, for real. The cover art looked pretty cool, so I decided to give it a try, but wow, this is not the light-hearted romance I was expecting. Not even close. First things first, let's get straight to the point: the male lead is a yakuza dude who is completely and utterly obsessed with the main girl. When I say obsessed, I don't just mean he’s a little clingy. He is the definition of overprotective, possessive, and obsessive. It’s a 100% textbook yandere stereotype story.If you've ever read a manga with a yandere character before, you know exactly what the vibe is here. It’s kinda exhausting to read, to be honest. He’s always watching her, controlling who she talks to, and has that scary look in his eyes.

But at the same time..... it's weirdly interesting? Ngl, even though I was getting tired of his antics, I couldn't really stop reading. You just want to see how far his obsession will go and how the female character is going to handle this super intense situation.

Just a heads-up, this story is playing it completely serious so far. Don’t expect any comedy or fluffy moments to break the tension, because there are none. It's all drama and intensity. I mean, it's still got only a few chapters, so who knows what the author plans to do later, but right now, it’s a pretty heavy read. If you’re looking for a manga that will make your brain work overtime and leave you feeling mentally drained, you can definitely consider this one. It's the kind of story that's hard to process.

Personally, it didn't really meet my expectations. I guess I was hoping for something more than just the standard yandere plot. So, I’m just gonna rate it a 6/10 for now. It’s the bare minimum; the art is decent and the story does what it says it’s gonna do, but it's not something I'm super hyped to follow. Recommended only if you're a hardcore fan of the yandere trope.
