Hunter x Hunter: Kurapika's Memories · review
I read these two chapters as a single one-shot and it just works! Honestly, even if you haven't read or watched Hunter x Hunter and you aren't familiar with Kurapika, the way the story is set up allows it to be an easy and enjoyable read. At it's core it is a tried and true story of a group of people different from the rest of the world who live a very fragile lifestyle to maintain the peace they hold onto. Of course, curiosity and the restrictive ways of monotony get the best of our MC and thus creates the tension leading up to certain fatefulevents.
The story, art, and characters are all solid for such a short read. If anything I almost wish it had just one more chapter to flesh out a couple of characters a bit or to show a bit more of what happens post the unspeakable actions that took place.
If you haven't read this and are familiar with Hunter x Hunter, Read it!
