Review of Neon Genesis Evangelion

This is it. My favorite anime of all time. The one that affected me the most. The one that emotionally destroyed me. It's depressing. It's a mind-fuck. It's a masterpiece. I adore this with all my heart and soul. The show is very depressing, as it deals very bleakly with themes of depression and the feeling of not being loved. I understand that the ending can be very divisive, although it has gotten a better rep in past years. The movie End of Evangelion does expand a lot on the concepts and ideas, so it is esential to watch after finishing this masterpiece
