Review of Black Lagoon

The first season of the Black Lagoon series as the establishment of the three season show. The season itself exists to be the introduction to viewers. That is all I have to say to the season as a whole... Moving on, What I have to give praise to is sound design and voice-acting I can fully heartily say that the dub is not average but great. When a explosion happens you can feel it happen.The sounds of guns are extremely realistic now if only we could hear the reload recoil sounds it would be so much more amazing. Since we follow a Merc-crew in theChinese-sea I think? I am not sure about where in Asia we are though. I love the contrasting dynamic between Revy and Rock, with Revy being the warrior and Rock being the pacifist. I especially love how when the show gets into character motivation I can actually see where they are coming from, take the submarine scene for example, it not only tells us more about Revy, and implicates that she has a sad past. From it we can tell what ever event happened in the flashback changed her, character wise, it may also be where her bloodlust began(I mean in fights).

I love the arcs from the series every few episoes has an arc and only focuses on that and nothing else. The series doesnt have any filler and I am very happy for that.

I say watch the show when you have free time, and a 8 out of ten.
