Gundam 00 is mainly about an organization called Celestial Being who's main goal is to eradicate war. To enforce their noble ideals, they use advance mobile suits called Gundams. Gundams are deployed to a battlefield wherever it maybe in the world and attack both sides to end the conflict, this is known as one of their arm intervention. So will they achieve their goal of creating world peace? That is an answer that can only be found out by watching the series :D Story: The story is pretty interesting. A small group of people with advance technology trying to create peace through violence. Kind of contradicting, but it is pretty much like the saying of fighting fire with fire. Now the plot is pretty simple, not too complex to understand, and not much of those puzzling moments where you're just like "How did that happened?" or "What the...?" It pretty simple because it is an action anime so it is mostly fighting and explosions. However in the midst of all this, there is the subplot of Saji Crossroads and Louise Halevy. Some may say that their little skit is annoying or irrelevant to the series sometime, but I think this is what make Gundam 00 kind of unique from the other series in the fact that it shows how the lives of normal citizen, completely not related to combat, feels and how they react to the war. So if you are looking for an anime with action and explosions and some decent plot/theme, I would recommend this anime to you.

Art: I have to say that this is probably one of the best artwork for an anime I have seen. The Gundams are finely detailed and well drawn, and the character just look stunning. The pictures are pretty good that even SD is practically the same as 480p. The scenes are nice, though some battles just seem so exaggerated like the explosion that happens after a mobile suit gets cut in half, the guy piloting it HAS to finish his sentence first before it actually become a huge explosion. Well beside that the artwork and animation was just fabulous.

Sound: The soundtrack is just amazing. The OP and ED really does fit in with the theme of the anime. Like the first OP "DAYBREAK'S BELL" by L'arc~en~Ciel has great beat and fits perfectly with the opening animation, and it just gets you ready for the upcoming episode. The ED is also great because it kind of give you that wrapping up feel. Overall I personally loved the soundtrack, and could never skipped it.

Character: The cast of Gundam 00 is quite colorful in my opinion. At first the Gundam Meisters(pilots of the Gundams) looked like they are cold hearted, even robotic kind of people, just like their Gundams. But as you watch on, you see how they are actually more colors than that first black and white impression. Trying to not give off to many spoilers here, but you learn how each of the Meisters have their own dark, even sometime bloody past, that makes them who they are and give them purpose to fight on. Now with the civilian point of view from Saji and Louise, they are an interesting young couple. They are young and always seem to be having fun,and carefree, always commenting on the war, not knowing what it is like, but as the series goes on, they become more mature as they soon see that even though they are not in the warzone, it still affects them.

Enjoyment: I have to say that this was one of my favorite Gundam series. Though in the beginning, like the first episode, the Gundam from Celestial Being just seem too powerful. At first I was thinking that was so awesome, but then I was thinking how can this series be fun when its going to be nothing but a one sided battle, but as I watch on, it wasn't the way I thought it was.Making it become even more exciting. At the end of each episode it just made me want to watch the next one, like their wasn't a "pause" feeling for this anime series. The theme of this series was great, though it may not be original, but the way it was delivered was just awesome, and seeing all of the character development was also worthwhile. This series was absolutely great, I really loved it, and is currently watching the second season with no disappointment :D, but I'll save the comments for it in its own review. Well hope this helped! If it didn't please leave a comment saying why it didn't or if it did please leave a comment too saying why it was good! Well hope you enjoy!
