This is a nice supplement to the highly regarded Dennou Coil anime, but it cannot stand on its own as a telling of the Dennou Coil story. The story is incredibly fast-paced, which I found disorienting. The anime is slow and meditative; the manga is not. The manga also skips over quite a few plot points that are more important than meaningless filler that does not advance the story. There is little to no character development in this manga as well. This makes the manga feel very rushed and like it lacks enough breathing room to enjoy the story fully. What saves this manga frombeing terrible are the emotional climaxes at the end of each chapter and its humour and art.
