After reading the 2nd Arc of the Higurashi franchise, I can say that the author is pure genius... I'd score everything a 9... Maybe I expected too much since I completely loved the 1st Arc... It started off the same... Everything and everyone just seem to be so sweet and innocent... there were similarities with the 1st Arc that may have bored me a little... the twin sister premise was not too scary... it was kinda predictable that there would be an evil sister... but then the twist at the end was really really worth it... Art was effective and creepy at times... the bed crawlingscene reminded me of Ju-On...

Very highly recommended and certainly not for people with overactive imagination... or else they might find themselves dreaming about footsteps, mutilation and someone under their bed... :D
