"The Innocent" manga is a short and dynamic story that tells us about a detective which comes back from the dead to seek revenge after being falsely accused and sentenced to death. As expected, the plot escalates really fast, so the whole story can be contained in only one volume. There is a lot of action, countless fights and a supernatural motive of redemption through helping people out, with the assistance of an angel. The main character, being a stubborn individual, prefers doing things his own way, which, in the end, leads him to achieving his main goal. The story itself makes one wonder aboutthe general depiction of good and evil and the true nature of a man. If you are looking for a quick read and enjoy action combined with supernatural then this is the perfect fit.
