One of Naoko Takeuchi's other works, Maria is a beautiful tale about a girl falling in love. Though typical in story, Maria makes up for it with the tone and characters and slight mystery presented. It leaves you guessing at parts, and smiling at others. I always end up reading this manga when I come back to anime and manga because of how simplistic yet timeless it is.
