This manga is supposedly based on a series of novels released prior. Unfortunately you can really feel this (in a negative way) while reading this manga. The world and the characters seem well thought through with lots of details and little descriptions here and there. Reading this manga without having read the novel this unfortunately feels off and rushed most of the time. Putting the story of three novels into a single manga volume was clearly a problem and I sometimes felt like I was missing background information. The story itself seems interesting but loses a lot of its appeal due to the pacing. We dontget to know a whole lot about the main characters and their relationship seems very superficial (as they declare their love for each other after minutes and Seme immediately falls in love with uke look-alike after he goes missing.)

The artstyle is fine but nothing special. The guys are very handsome though and perfect if you're into long-haired dudes. There are only three, short 18+ scenes, as it focuses more on the plot of the uke's disappearance.

Overall a story that seems very promising and was probably much better in its original novel format. Could have been much better executed as a longer running series. Shame.
