Okosama Box · review
It's been over a decade since I first read this, and.... The emotions are still running high. I appreciate that, still. The mutual pining is delightfully dramatic. But the storytelling... Again, Just like so much of Oko-sama Star, the story relies on misunderstanding and jumping to conclusions and unspoken assumptions as its driving force. The repetitiveness takes away from much of the story. As much as the story wants to distinguish the main characters here from the main characters of Oko-sama Star, their dynamics remain similar because the plot beats are also similar. The resolution, then, loses a lot of its strength, because...erh. Saw that, again and again. It's stillenjoyable, but...idk.
