I'm relieved to know this series isn't a total isekai story. It takes the setting of a Fantasy World gamer scenario, and the MC happens to go on the path of a tamer. While the job of a tamer can be expected, a different story is always appreciated. There isn't particularly special about him, he seeks to enjoy a peaceful gaming life with this unexpected new role. The appeal here lies with the "unique" monsters, especially with his resolve to be useful and help everyone regardless of players or NPC. There isn't anything mind-blowing here, it's just a kind good guy who likes to play the game at his ownpace.
