This manga is slow moving - there is action, but don't expect it to carry the plot. The writer uses this manga to critique society, and some of those are on point. The basic premise is that the MC gets dumped into a fantasy world periodically, to complete quests. Each time, his party gets another companion. I say 'his party', but the MC only joins on the third quest. over time, the characters get more and more powerful, but slowly. The quests are typically NOT solved by fighting, but by dealing with the underlying social issues that caused the problem in the first place. This manga is funand thought provoking, if you have the patients for it.
