This one's for the furries ✌️ So this manga has a fairly cute romance, host club hijinks, drama...and I read it for none of those things. I read it purely because one big sweet man has a tiger head, and I love him. I enjoy this manga a lot, but not because it's well written. The character writing is pretty weak (especially for the main character), and the romantic development is cliched and sometimes bordering on embarrassing. The story is blundering, but here's the thing: the love interest has a tiger head. That elevates even the roughest stories; everything is intrinsically funnier and more entertaining with atiger head love interest.
This is a story I am willing to forgive all it's faults for, because the premise it's based on is so goddamn funny. And I think that's okay. It's no worse than much of the BL out there, but comes with an added thing I love; I come back to this story again and again, and only ever remember the good parts. It delights me.
Tiger man carries the series just like he carries my heart, and with enough luck he may way carry your heart to.
