After School in the Lounge · review
Don't watch this if you expect this anime to compete with nowadays style. This is old animation, and furthermore, this is old yaoi style. Broad shoulders, long legs, pointy chins, it's standard 80's/90's era style for the genre. And that's how you should watch this, not expecting it to compete with nowadays style or narration or pace. Plot is thin, everything is in the feelings, in what we don't see. In my opinion, there's even poetry, cheesy poetry with this walk alongside the beach/lake, the moon reflecting in the surface, hesitant young man facing the strong feelings of the seme... and 80's idol photo shootaesthetic.
I had a great time watching this, I had my fair share of laughs (because come on), but for me, it's gold.
